is it possible to have a dozen jalepeno and cheese scones mailed to me in washinton state? thanks pamela?
Poor service. Man was rude and didn't wait to complete my order. Young lady had to come and help .
MoreThe bread was ok, kind of bland, as if it didn’t have a full rising time (but it looked good). Staff kind of wishy-washy, blasé, didn’t know prices of anything, on my Sunday noon visit.
MoreWow.
Great coffee and treats but painfully slow and inefficient service.
Walked by 20 minutes before they closed and the doors were locked and signs said "closed". Employees were cleaning up inside, even though the closing time was clearly posted as 4pm and it was 3:40.
MoreGreat coffee, great pastries. Fun vibe.
We enjoyed our stop. The sandwiches on long, skinny bread were a favorite. Good coffee and excellent conversation with the owner and staff.
MoreWe love the Wild Goose Café for being one of those truly original local joins. From the daily baked brioche to their hodgepodge decore, we always feel like we're being invited into the diverse experiences of the owners' lives. The Goose epitomizes the nitty gritty character that defines Carmel Valley Village. Thank you for being who you are. Small, local and a little crazy!
MoreStopped here every morning while we were on vacation. Coffee is delicious and the pastries, particularly the cinnamon rolls, are AMAZING! I would fly back across the country for the cinnamon rolls and scones!
MoreService is slow, but the food is tasty and the tea and coffee are really high quality. They do a lot of special drink orders, too. Moreover, the prices are fair for the quality of the pastries. The people are very nice, and there is plenty of seating. Moreover, there is plenty of seating. There's a sizable parking lot, and the cafe opens early.
MoreThe best pastries n coffee in town
In my opinion best bakery on the peninsulaThe owner is kinda quirky, but entertaining....
MoreSweet owners I’d support even if their coffee wasn’t delicious (FYI great coffee and pastries)
MoreNice coffee
Awesome independent coffeehouse with lots of character.
Delicious!
Favorite bakery in the area with good homemade bagels.
Great coffee, excellent baked goods
Friendly staff, great food and coffee, with a wonderful atmosphere. We were in town for a long weekend and went here every morning that we could. Their fresh baked pastries are delicious and service is top notch. Wonderful spot for a quick bite or to sit and stay a while! Definitely recommend!
MoreI was out riding my motorcycle on a cold Sunday morning and stopped into this little bakery for hot chocolate to warm me up. While ordering, I noticed a homemade coffee cake and ordered a slice. OMG, that was the best coffee cake I've ever had, dare I say even better than my grandma's, who's recipe all else paled and I gave up the search. Now that I've found Wild Goose, I'll be back for more. And their hot chocolate was pretty darn good too, served up in a nice large ceramic mug.
MoreCharming cafe with an array of yummy baked goods, cozy atmosphere. And doggy friendly. A lovely place to take your timemail and enjoy the experience!!!!
MoreSuper tasty food and great bread!Staff was very friendly and I immediately felt very comfortable in this nice little cafe.
Moregood a while enjoying the scenery but then any place along and around this area is a little more unique :-)
MoreGreat coffee and treats! And carrot, ginger, apple juice!
Cute place. Great service.
Best Carmel Latte ever! The French man was very amusing, excellent service!
Strange that beef is not served as it is not healthy. Yet other animal flesh is served. Pricey $11.00 for a BLT
MoreFirst timers, figure out what you want from the boards inside and out and then get in line and wait. Breakfast burrito has an East Asian flair to it and the coffee is strong and hot. Raspberry scone quite flaky.
MoreService can be slow, but great food and atmosphere. Run by a local family who came here from Italy over twenty years ago.
MoreLoved my time at this snug little cafe nestled in Carmel Valley. Espresso? Check. Bistro cuisine? Check. Actually turned out to be a surprise haven for gluten-free food (if you're into that type of thing)! Amazing sandwiches and bakery items sans-evil-gluten. 5/5, would recommend to even my enemies.
MoreLovely drinks and pastries. Staff was so friendly and welcoming.
The best pastries ever
My friend from the UK and I happened upon this lovely spot one morning. We both had delicious coffees with frothy steamed milk for beverages. Kate ordered porridge AKA oatmeal which arrived with a small carafe of heated milk and fruit on the side❤️ I had a scone that really is one of, if not the best I have ever had! Apricot/Ginger scone was amazing. They had other ones I would have tried but I was too full The scones are pretty big. Very friendly staff too. Definitely worth a trip into the valley.
MoreI was working in and around Carmel Valley for a week and once I found this gem of a cafe it became my go-to for lunch in the Valley. They have delicious coffee, yummy baked goods, and delicious sandwiches and breakfast burritos. I think I had a breakfast burrito for lunch there every single day I was there. The cafe is rustic and homey--an authentic 'old' Bug Sur/Carmel establishment where you'll see ranchers, artists, and everyone in between. Love this place.
MoreThe food was delicious of course it was because it was made from scratch that morning. The owners are very friendly and love to have a conversation with you. The coffee is great too. Nice atmosphere and comfortable.
MoreJust stopped for coffee. It was excellent. Food looks great! Friendly atmosphere.
MoreAwesome coffee and pastries
I ordered the breakfast special and my bacon was burned, my eggs were bland and looked like they were cooked on a dirty grill, and the service was terrible. The coffee was good and pricing was reasonable, but I would not recommend it.
MoreAwsome experiance
Great place, games to play, greatcoffee, and great prices
Stopped here for a bite to eat as had great reviews, unfortunately my family and I did not experience this , service was very poor and quite rude with are food practically been thrown at us , plates had chips in them and food was not fresh made but cheap frozen burgers, we didn’t get a lot of choices as everything we asked for they said they didn’t have , even though it was 12 and it doesn’t close till 5 ? Very disappointed, do not recommend!
MoreCoffee and sandwiches were fine. But slow and grumpy service.
We always stop here for lunch or pastries, etc. Good food, very nice folks, nice atmosphere.
MoreCoffee comes in bowls!!!
Favorite spot in Carmel Valley!
Stopped here while traveling through, mostly so the kids could use the restroom. So glad we did! Owner was super friendly and great conversation. Coffee cake was the best cake we've had in years, we had to order seconds. Coffee was alright, chai was pretty good too. But we just had the best time here. On the way out, one of the local regulars gave me a sketch he'd done of my two kids (who were running around the whole time, not minded by anyone there thankfully). It's a great sketch, and something we'll treasure. Of course, that part's not on the menu, but I'd still go again in a heartbeat.
MoreThe best blueberry scones I've ever had! I would post a picture, but it didn't make it that far! :) The owner was very sweet and the staff treated me with kindness and respect! Coming back REAL soon!
MoreI go here almost every morning i’m visiting Carmel! Great bagels, breakfast burritos and local spot.
MoreNice hot chocolate, tasty raspberry scone, friendly service, charming atmosphere.
MoreNice people
